an area just just just round the corner from botany downs- you can include it in - the area basically called flat bush but is also included in the botany area - Mr Laidlaw once owned all the land in this area bac in the early 1900's. He was the founder of Farmers Trading Company. Today Farmers head office is located at Laidlaw Place - giving credit to the land that he once all owned in this area. Farmers has just celebrated 100 years of serving its comunity - and there is a lot of history in that! Hope t helps a wee bit
