How do i find information on a toyshop thats closed down about 20 years ago!!?

im desperately trying 2 find the name/manufacturer of a doll i had when i was a young girl,so i can get another,or at least try! i believe,in derby it was only sold at golden gains,on the morledge,so im trying to work out how to find information on this shop,in the hope it may help,or maybe anyone remembers the doll i mean.it was a babydoll 22/24inches,dressed in blue or pink, the girl had earings(a novelty 4 a babydoll in the early 80s)and a little tuft of blond hair,on bald/molded head, they had hazel eyes,you could buy them with or without a wicker basket,and with or without the electronic function,with the basket and elec.function they cost �34.99.(alot of money back then!!)ive sat night after night trying to get this information, and even looked at every doll on a fav. auction site,hoping i may see this doll,my familys at breaking point!! please help me if you can,id be forever grateful,thanking you,,,x
