Is it worth it to get a smart phone?

I know what you are saying about the interface with verizon, but smartphones can be some trouble. For one, if you text a lot it is harder to create a new text then it is on a regular phone. Second, when I tried out a smart phone, I called my friend and he could here everything in a 5 foot radius when it was not on speaker. This could be a problem when you are at parties. Third, I heard that verizon is coming out with 4 new phones in the next 4 months, so if it is an option to wait I think you should. I have the LG Dare, and it is a wonderful phone. It doesn't have the old verizon interface because it is touchscreen so they had to create a new one. Go to you local verizon store and check out the LG Dare. I'm not trying to drive you away to a smartphone because they are very good phones, but there are little things about them that can make it annoying to use in everyday life. Good Luck!
