A must for growing your hair long and beautiful is getting it trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. That way you avoid split ends and your hair stays healthy. All they other stuff I am not sure of but this I know from first hand experience.There is nothing pretty about hair that looks damaged.

97 Honda Prelude having some clutch problems...?

I have a 97 prelude, i was driving from sacramento to salt lake city when i was nearing salt lake, the resistance on the clutch started to go. in the morning there was no resistance and the clutch was either up or on the floor, no pressure. i checked the fluid level and it had gone down, so i added more fluid, we pumped the clutch and the resistance came back and the clutch was working perfectly. drove the next day to denver and the resistance on the clutch is going down again but the fluid level hasn't dropped. any suggestions on what the problem is and what needs to be done?

Is it worth it to get a smart phone?

I know what you are saying about the interface with verizon, but smartphones can be some trouble. For one, if you text a lot it is harder to create a new text then it is on a regular phone. Second, when I tried out a smart phone, I called my friend and he could here everything in a 5 foot radius when it was not on speaker. This could be a problem when you are at parties. Third, I heard that verizon is coming out with 4 new phones in the next 4 months, so if it is an option to wait I think you should. I have the LG Dare, and it is a wonderful phone. It doesn't have the old verizon interface because it is touchscreen so they had to create a new one. Go to you local verizon store and check out the LG Dare. I'm not trying to drive you away to a smartphone because they are very good phones, but there are little things about them that can make it annoying to use in everyday life. Good Luck! Cordon Bleu finch head feather loss?

I have a cordon bleu finch and a zebra finch in the same cage - they have lived together happily for almost a year. I just noticed that the cordon bleu is has lost head feathers from behind his eyes, about a 1/4 inch back, straight across the back of his head. He obviously couldn't have done this himself. Is this some strange molting pattern, or has the zebra suddenly become agressive when I'm not around? I haven't noticed any change in behavior for either of them. I went to the nail salon on Saturday. I got a polish change on my acrylic nails and a polish change on my toes. Also it can cause blood in the urine. Your doctor was right to put you on meds but, there are different types of U.T.I's, they probably gave you the meds for the common infections. Let your doctor know that the meds aren't working and maybe you need a different kind. Once there's blood in the urine and the kidneys start hurting it's pretty serious and needs to be taken care of immediatly.

So i wake up today feeling great and all of the sudden at lunch my front left tooth begins to hurt when I take a drink of Hi-C that is cold. Opening my mouth and taking a breath also hurts. The pain is not unbearable, more a nuisance. I have found eating foods, even peanuts do not aggravate it, but liquids that are not room temperature cause a pain. My mother suffers from sensitive teeth (not sure if its genetic). Really sweet foods have caused me problems before, but never cold/hot drinks until today. Can a single tooth become sensitive, or is it something more severe?

H1N1 diagnosed yesterday yet no fever today?

My doctor did a test yesterday because i have had a cough for 2 weeks and a fever for a few days. He said i had type 1 influenza- swine flu. he put me on anti viral medication yesterday. I would just like to respond to your question from a parent's perspective and a granddaughter's. Although it is always a huge factor, I don't believe money should be the issue where health care is concerned. However, I don't feel that everything should be done in a situation where there is nothing that can be done, regardless of age. A family should be told the whole truth and should be advised of all possible treatments and there consequences good or bad. Also, they should be told what the out come may be as far as can be determined. Only then can a family make an informed decision about their loved ones life. At the same time the family should take into consideration that "quality of life" is the decision maker. If you don't know the outcome, then everything should be done, In the case of a a 93 year old granny or a 16 year old baby girl, I don't believe anyone other than the family has the right to make such decisions. I am speaking from experience in both cases and I feel very strongly that if nothing can be done then nothing should be done. On the other hand, I also feel the only ones to make that decision is the family, Not doctors and not the government and not insurance companies. It is an emotional situation, but when given all the facts the family has the responsibility to make the right decision. Some families would not make an unselfish decision based on the facts, but doctor's don't always make the right call either. I don't believe that age should be the factor that makes one try or not try to save a life. As I said before, the fact that a person will be subjected to unnecessary treatments when there is no chance for survival or no quality of life should make the choice between treatment or letting them go in peace no matter how hard that may be. Naturally the doctor should be involved in the decision to the extent of giving the family their professional and personal opinion. I believe that most people can put their own feelings aside when given all the facts and do the right thing, as the family you wrote about did when you talked to them in a way that made them understand the futility of their cirstance even though they were so distraught. Communication between doctors and patients or family is very important.

I'm a 15 year old boy. Why am i depressed? Well the main reason is this: I never seem to ever do anything on the weekends whether it's going to parties or having fun or anything. First off, i've NEVER been invited to any type of party. Do i have friends? Yes i do have friends. Any friends close, ehhh kinda. Not exactly though. But i just get a feeling of jealousy that i never get to go to any parties or anything. Also i've never dated a girl before. 15 year old and never kissed or dated a girl? Thats sad. Okay, I'm in college and my college blocks things like myspace and facebook for NO REASON... Horrible projectile vomiting =(?

my son will be three month old on the fifth.. ever since a couple of weeks ago he keeps spitting up his formula and its not a lil its a lot like projectile vomiting. i've tried different type cause the doc though tit was the formula but it wasn;t and the doc says he is fine if it isn't the formla i only feed him a 1.5 ounces then burp him then feed him a lil bit more then cut him off at 4 oz, the er doc says its normal and nothing is wrong with him because his weight is fine but i am afraid he will start to lose his nutreints and possibly have this issue get worse. Do any of you have any suggestions? i was told to give him pedialite after a lot of throw up to give him a lil of what he needs instead of losing it all, and she uses it on her son who is the exact same age my son and he is healthy, but docs say its not good for him. what do you think?

Need a special kitty name... Trying to save her life?

Lmp may 4th. Ovulation was 19th. Bd on 11th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 22nd, 23rd, 25th. I had a faint positive a couple days ago. Took another test yesterday with FMU and was negative. AF has not shown. No spotting or cramping. Talked to my dr and scheduled to see her in a few days. Told her about pos then neg but no spotting or cramping. She mentioned that since multiples run on both sides it is possible that I was preggo with multiples which triggered an early pos but had chem preg with one which is why neg now. My brother and I decided to test our mental connections and had some surprising results. I took a deck of cards and selected one randomly and then stared at him focusing on the number. I told him to guess it and he did. He then took the deck and randomly selected a card and asked for me to guess it. I also guessed it correctly. I then took the deck back and repeated the process a third time and he correctly guessed the card I had selected. On the fourth repetition I did not correctly guess the card. The chances of correctly guessing a card are 1/52. 1/52 to the third (i.e. the chance of randomly picking three cards) is .000007%. My question, is how can you test this for statistical significance and find out what the chance is of this result being due to chance or statistical flukes. I'm asking for a test in statistical significance as I am not a statistician and do not know how. Thank you.

Project: mixed model ANOVA and what is a multivariate ysis vs. univariate?

I am working on a project and am getting different answers to what statistical ysis I should be using. Basically I am giving a treatment to let's say 20 subjects and measuring a response at 4 different times: at time zero (before treatment), at 10 min after treatment, at 20 min, and 30 min. To make it more complicated, I have two different doses of the treatment. So I bring them in one day for one visit, and another day for the second dose. Should I do statistical ysis separately? e.g repeated measures ANOVA, or should I do a mixed model 2 way ANOVA?

strange request but whatever. like the others said weights work anything from ankle weights (but are much more noticeable) to rolls of quarters (easier to hide). also eat larger portions of food but the only way to keep that weight on would be if you stopped exercising until this competition. if you can't do that then faking the weight by using the weight method is your best chance... gown wise do they check under it because if they dont then the quarters would work and you could also try strapping some around your stomach it is not noticeable if you get it flat enough.

Trouble breathing,and feel fatigued?

lately i thought it was anxiety, but i cant breath throughout the day its on and off, usually sleep helps. my doctor says its anxiety and my sleep cycle is worsening it because i stay up till 3 am . but i dont think this is the case randomly ill just have trouble breathing and it has like a burning feeling in my lungs, also sometimes it feels like my chest is congested, but i have no cold, and have never smoked,but have been around smokers my whole life. Also i feel fatigued. When i wake up i try to go get food but and so fatigued and out of breath i have to sit down. A couple of weeks ago i was exercising and feeling great than this came out of no where. What is this please help i have no energy i just lost weight im going to gain it back i feel terrible.

So I broke up with my gf of 6 months after I found out she was unfaithful with me with her ex bf. the bank treated me very badly, and i wrote a letter to them to complain. They completly ignored me so i sent my letter further up the company saying i had already contacted my local bank with no response. I then got a phone call from my local bank (presumably because i had complained further up) and since i missed the call they left me a voicemail asking me to call them back. What they did was deffinatly wrong, so i want to be firm and see if i can get any compensation for it. However, when i speak to people in person im always really weak and usually cave. I cant stay angry and always end up saying it doesnt matter. Help with my 7 month old!!?

Ok my son is 7 months old, 2 days ago I noticed a small pimple lookin on his top lip, I didn't think ne thing of it because these are normal for him he drools a lot and loves his pacifier which holds the drool on his lip and sometimes makes these spots. However, yesterday this small spot turned into a swollen and red spot which came to a head and today it is still very swollen and red and still hasnt popped. Someone set up an ACH withdrawl from my checking account to pay for a Discover card. I don't even own a discover card. I had the account closed and the bank is looking into it. I tried Discover, but of course they would not disclose any info. Are there other methods to investigate this? It's not so much the money, becasue the bank will credit that back.
