I'm planning to go snowboarding, but its raining at my house for days, so will it be raining on the mountain?

So yeah, I really really want to go snowboarding (I live in Vancouver), but I obviously don't want to snowboard in the rain. So is it quite possible for it to rain on a mountain... I'm not sure because I would think that it would seldom rain because a mountain is at such a high elevation.
