Are these 2 chicken safe to eat ?

Well according to the USDA it isn't. But I say use good judgment. I thaw chicken on the counter all the time, it takes 3 to 4 hours to thaw. If it smells and looks fine it should be safe. I have been thawing chicken this way for a long time and I haven't gotten sick yet.
